These are pictures that I took at a huge protest in San Francisco on Friday, November 7, 2008, against the passage of Proposition 8. There were at least several thousand people that took part, marching from Civic Centre, through the Castro District, and stopping at Dolores Park.

I used a Canon 20D with a 50 mm f/1.8 lens. The photographs were shot in RAW, processed with Adobe Camera RAW, and then posted online in JPEG, at an image quality level of 10 out of 12.
